A little about Heather, and how I can help you!

Hello Disney fans and enthusiasts!  I am so excited to join the Lost Boys Adventures Team to help you book and plan the most magical vacation ever!  I will be blogging on a number of topics moving forward:  Park Tips and Tricks, Bringing the Magic Home, Toy Reviews, etc.   I want to share a little bit about myself and how I hope to be an asset to you in your vacation planning.
I am a stay-at-home mom with four children (five if you include the 32-year-old Disney-obsessed boy I’m married to).  I have a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics and a Master’s Degree in Education.  Working in this capacity is a dream for me as it combines my passions for educating/helping people learn with my addiction to all things Disney!
As far as Disney Parks experience is concerned, I am well-versed and up-to-date on my information.  I spend more time than I would like my husband to know scouring the deep corners of the internet on Disney blogs and message boards.  If the Liberty Tree Tavern changes their lunch menu, I know about it.   If a tram in the Animal Kingdom parking lot has a flat tire, I know about it.
Aside from my obsessive daily research into Disney Parks, I have real hands-on experience too.  Since 2014, our family has traveled from Northeast TN to Disney several times.  In a 12-month period from March 2017 – March 2018, we went to Disney World 6 times spending over 31 days in the parks.  We literally spent one month in Disney World last year!  So when I share tips, tricks, and suggestions, it comes from real experience.  Specifically for those of you with small children, I’ve got you covered.  I am in expert in baby care centers, places to nurse a baby, child height requirements, where to take a mid-day break, kid-friendly restaurants, character meet-n-greets, you name it!
My aim as your agent (or even just your blogger) is to provide you with everything you need to plan and enjoy a successful trip to Disney World.  When I say I enjoy planning trips, I really mean it!  I love being able to help people have the same magical feelings that I get when I go to Disney.  And I love working out the perfect way to do that for every family!
Below you will find some Q&A to get to know me and the services I provide.

How much does it cost to book a trip with you?
Great question!  I am travel agent specializing in Disney vacations, having completed the necessary training and on-boarding through Disney to book vacations with them.  Disney pays our agency a commission based on the total value of the packages we book.  THERE IS NO UPCHARGE for using our services.  In other words, the cost to book through us will never and can never be greater than what you will find booking directly through Disney.  And while my commission as your agent does change with the cost of your trip, you have my word that I will never try to up-sell or push an unnecessary add-on with the aim of maximizing my commission.  My goal is to meet your needs, period.
What is your favorite ride at Disney World?
Tower of Terror.  I’m actually pretty freaked out by the theming (which is what makes it so brilliant!), but that floating sensation as you drop faster than gravity is my favorite!
Why should I book through you rather than direct through Disney?
Booking a trip to Disney World involves more than the initial purchase of your vacation package.  Specifically, dining reservations and fastpasses must be reserved early if you are keen on getting exactly the rides and meals you want at the time you want them.  On your behalf, I’m the one that will be online and on the phone making reservations at the earliest possible time (often times very early in the morning).  I also pride myself in being a great resource for you before, during, and after your trip.  I have literally left my lunch half eaten to go change a fastpass time for a client when I discovered that some difficult-to-get fastpasses were made available.  My clients have been known to text me while on their trip throughout the day for guidance on last minute itinerary changes, tips, and information requests.  In short, I provide a valuable service at no additional cost to you.
What is your favorite Disney Movie?
Little Mermaid. Up. Coco. All of them.
